That may be, but I think it is because she is obsessing over them and keeps
cuddling up with them.  The amazing thing is that Nellie was not such an
obsessive mother when she had her own puppies.  She had enough milk, but just
that.   She was always more concerned about being with me than her puppies
(still a good mother - heaven forbid I should imply that the delight of my
life is less than perfect - but not like most of my others who are GREAT.)
