from: stephanie hart [EMAIL PROTECTED] There is really no need for anyone to leave any of the webrings? of course, you're free to do what you want.
The one in question was notified and i'm sure they will look at it and probably take it off. The other large cavalier webring with hundreds of sites was mine. I recently had the pleasure of turning it over to our own Steve Mynott :) I sent Steve an email in case through the search feature of the webrings control panel he finds the site is there also (even if the ring logo doesn't appear on the site) he'll find it if it's in there. Up to the time i took over the ring, it was mostly on an "automated" site addition feature. But i put it on manual so that i could see who was requesting to be in the ring. That's fine for all the sites of the past year, but the 200 or so that were there still need to be sorted through. If anyone ever finds a site that is objectionable or crosses our "tolerable" lines... please email Steve so he can go take a peek. The webring is really neat. It can also be "trying" it's a free feature to anyone who wants to have it and it really is nice to browse through all the neat cavalier sites.. but like anything, some odd people will get in. It's just a case where you need to get your "good" site in and alert the ring person to the questionable ones. Most of us are on the same page about what is less than desireable as far as a site goes. I greatly appreciated the leg work of many list members in spotting sites that needed to come out, and i'm sure Steve will to.
