However, let me share my opinion. I have been quite disturbed lately by calls from lovely families that have found their puppy after a long search and MOST of those are giving me names of puppy mills and importers. They are calling me to thank me for my help in directing them to good breeders, etc. What has been happening is that they talk to a good breeder and then check their website. From that site they follow links to other sites and then to other sites. And that is how they end up with millers and importers. I have been hoping to find a way to encourage my fellow breeders to get themselves off those webrings now that we see the result, but by this practice we are just expanding their exposure even more. If someone can come up with some guidelines and suggestions as to a way to guide them back to responsible sites I would welcome it.
