Phyllis - Same problem here. I usually send them to the CKCSC USA, Inc. or the ACKCSC web sites and tell them that the other web sites are just too iffy for a new person just starting to look for a dog. And also, that the dog should be registered with the CKCSC or the AKC or preferably both. After that, people are going to do what they're going to do...IMHO.
