Hi List,

I thought I would share this as it tickled my funny bone. I am on my 3rd week of
Pneumonia, was Bronchitis till the x-ray. Anyway, needless to say, the dogs are a
little bored as I lay in bed all day, the 9 mos. old puppy has been a real challenge.
I was telling my husband I have no choice but to work on training her tricks when she
is inside cause she has to do something. His response was , "too bad you can't teach
her to play dead for an hour or so!" Spoken like a concerned husband!

I am thankful to have all my dogs as they give me so much attention and support.
Tuffy, my Cavalier is especially attentive. Every cough he is right there laying
closer.

Oh, almost forgot! The puppy had some diarrhea on her fur (also had two very sick dogs
last week. Vets ran every test and could not figure it out. They are recovering well)
and my husband asked how best to clean it off. I told him to let it dry and brush it
out with this really tough slicker. He came in the house afterwards so pleased cause
he had brushed Tuffy with it also (UGH!). He knew I was so concerned that I had not
been able to brush the dogs! I had to say thanks, cringing at the thought of that
nasty slicker on the Cavalier. He has such a beautiful strong coat, he seems none th
eworse for the wear, and hey, he's brushed!

Recovering soon
