Thanks for your compliments Janice - I must clarify that my husband Tom has been the one to put all the legs and first place clean runs on Orbit's title and loads of ribbons on my walls. I tore two tendons on the right leg at Orbits ( May 2002) photo shoot for Pet Pride Calendars last March , just three months before Orbits first time out and ended my agility fun and plans, so Orbit had to relearn all the signals under Tom (his co-owner without any agility experience) just before going on out into Novice.
I can only claim credit for spotting his talent and puppy training plus 14 months of Seaside Scramblers puppy classes but the real test is out there on the course in competition . Tom has done a fabulous job running Orbit with such short notice. Since the transition they are truly a team. To make it even more difficult, Tom and I agree that it is too dangerous to leave him alone for even the time while he walks the course, so Tom just watches the first runner and still they do fantastic together.
