Thanks Winnie, Joan, Sharona, Jackie & Rosanne! (And Phyllis's story was
quite amusing...) I really like Barb H's suggestion too; trouble is, we had
just bought a *new* screen door right around the time Remy was a little
puppy (2 yrs ago), and I know we can't replace the whole door yet... but
when we can, that's the kind I'd go for!
This afternoon my husband and I were both free of work and, lucky for me, it
was raining too hard for him to go play golf -- so we went to the building
supply store and found a grille (Winnie's right-- this was around $25!).
Our door turns out to be an odd size so we had to make 2 trips, husband had
to get out his hack-saw, and the project probably won't be finished til
tomorrow but I just had to thank you all for the ideas and inspiration --
thanks to you this situation should be "cured" this weekend! Woo hoo!!!
