In the continuing saga of pet grilles and screen doors...I had to go to Home Depot today as we are adding a door from the master bedroom to the new deck and I needed of all things... a new storm door. So armed with experience and fresh from the list, I went off on my way.
"I need a vinyl door." I said to the less the enthusiastic, I hate to wait on women on a Sat sales associate. "Why?" he asked. "I have dogs" I responded thinking non of your business why I need vinyl, I'm in a hurry and if I am spending over $500 on doors and windows you better wait on me. "So, you have dogs" he responded. I proceeded to tell Mr. You Blew Me off the first time you waited on me for a man, that painted doors when scratched begin to rust. This by the way was the same person who had no clue what I was looking for when I asked for pet grilles that I could not reach (his second chance). I had to show him where in the store they were located. Well after all of my looking and picking the right vinyl storm door, they were out and didn't that just make his day. So off to Lowes I ran only to have to explain again why I needed vinyl. They only carry aluminum! So I guess it is off to Sears, in less than good humor, only to have to most likely explain, to a man, why I need vinyl! To make a long story longer, I found that Lowes carries a screening called Pet D fence and apparently it is 7 times stronger that regular bug screening. 48" x 84" cheap like under $20. Well tomorrow my Engie (English Cocker) Wrinkles is off to start his shows with Linda MaCartney Roy. The Cavaliers remain at home with our ET's. Have to dash we are packing his personal possessions for ''summer camp". Some how I have a feeling he will not agree with, "You are going to have a great time and meet new friends!" speech. Sharona Precious, Gilbert, Magooch, Foxy Lady and Jason and "The Others" Lola, Wrinkles, George, Hilda and Bruiser. ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
