I also know the seriousness of strep. We have a friend with "have" being the optimum word, who had a horrible situation with strep. He went in for a simple knee procedure and developed strep while in the hospital. He was critcially ill and it was also touch and go for several weeks. After time and a lot of rehab he came home and we have never forgotten this incident. With our busy lives and multi-tasking days, we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. My husband says I go to the doctor too often (once in awhile, he never goes which resulted in quintuple by-pass) for every little cough. The last time I went, 8 months ago BTW, it was pneumonia. So, while we are taking care of our belived Cavaliers, we can not forget to take care of US as well. Without us, who can they depend upon.
