Am posting for a friend -- different breed. She just delivered a very large singleton pup. The whelping was somewhat difficulty and traumatic; she finally did an episiotomy to facilitate delivery. The pup is fine, but has one open eye, she assumes due to the pressure during delivery.
Has anyone experienced this before? Should they stitch it shut, or maybe use that Dermabond (sp?) ?
