I have to work up to the dremel on the dogs -prior to 8 months old...or so...I use hand-held clippers. I also use a bag clip to hold ear feather out of the way by "pinning" the ears back behind the head at the nape of the neck. And yes, dew claws are a real 'art'! I did briefly think about maybe having the next litter's snipped off as it's such a struggle sometimes to do the adults!
