We just feed those combo rolls as they contain raw meats, raw ground bone, raw veggies and fruits along with organ meat and alfalfa. We add a pet tab per day, and we add in a little bit of sardine oil. We pop about half a cup of corn every afternoon and the 14 cavaliers and one dalmation share it, so they don't get much grain at all, but they do love their pop corn party after nap time. (Cathy Gish's suggestion to the list months ago) We also feed a raw egg once or twice a week and they get some yogurt every few days. The girls in whelp get bigger helpings the last month and the nursing girls get as much to eat as they want including some raw chicken wings, and cheese. When we made our own, I worried all the time about the right "mix", but now, I feel we are on pretty safe footing. Myra
