I know exactly what you mean about it being a killer to part with a puppy that you have almost hand reared. We had a little singleton once who was very premature. I completely hand raised him and just adored him. Coulter. By the time he was six months old, I knew he was a pet and that it would be better for me to place him. The problem I had was the idea of trading pieces of paper for him.....money or a check could never have paid for him because he was worth five trillion dollars to me. We finally gave him away to a previous puppy buyer. Giving him to a lovely couple as a gift of love was easier than selling him. It was the only way I could have parted with him. Since then, I've tried so hard to keep my distance emotionally from the puppies, but it doesn't work very well. Good luck with your Bruiser. Myra
