I've had dogs as long as I can remember. My parents bred Cockers back in the 40s and 50s. I've bred rabbits, pheasants, peacocks and different kinds of chickens, siamese cats, burmese cats, cockers, shepherds, exotic fish, goats and pigs. I taught poultry husbandry for 4H for many years while I was raising the nine children. I never laid eyes on a cavalier until about 1996 when I saw one on TV. We bought our first as a little pet girl, and we have been obsessed with them ever since. I can safely say that our entire life revolves around our dogs. We show them, breed them, spend our entire day with them, and surround ourselves with wonderful friends who are also cavalier owners. All in all, it is a very satisfying life. For the first time in my life I have all the time that I want to spend with my dogs, and who could ask for better companions than cavaliers? Myra
