Terri, I am curious since you sound as obsessed with pedigrees as I am; what pedigree is behind your cavalier? Do you plan to show and breed? I am a small hobby breeder/handler in Beaufort, SC and I have been in the fancy for 8 years. I am making a difference in health and type breeding wholecolors who win in both AKC and CKCSC,USA. It is the only way not to become kennel blind and see how I measure against the standard. I don't even know the judges who give my dogs class wins or Best In Show and they are all American bred!:) So far, I have my wins from English breeder/judge specialists and would love to get to enough shows to win a major. I studied for two years dogs, shows, health seminars and pedigrees before getting my Luxxar Arlington Rouge, Dixie, my foundation to Pratt cavaliers. She is a AKC.Ch.Salador Columbo daughter and Eng.Ch.Salador Corrigan granddaughter. I hope I can continue to make my contribution to the improvement in all areas for this beloved genteel spaniel. Well, I won't go into all the wonderful experiences I have living with these dogs or the replacement cost of multiple eye glasses eaten (you'd think I would learn?!) or drywall stripped to metal (cavalier interior designers?!) or ladies twin razor eaten, including pink handle and live to tell about it. These are just some of the unexpected joys of sharing my home with multiple dogs and I won't live my life without them! Can you tell, I am single head of fur household?
