If there is no physical reason for his not eating then you've inadvertantly
trained him to handfeeding and you'll have to retrain him to eat solid food.
Isolate him so that he can have the food dish to himself. Then put a dish of
food in front of him and do not handfeed no matter how much he fusses. He'll
eat if he gets hungry and there is food in front of him. He may take a day
to finally eat. It might help to put Ensure (vanilla flavor) over his food
so he can lap this up. Don't put too much, just enough to get him started.

Just be sure that he is physically capable of eating before trying the
retraining.

All the best,
Susan Cochran
