Hi,
My name is MaryAnne Wolfer and I live in South Florida with my Husband of 24 3/4
yrs, Neil and 3 Cavalier furkids.
I started my search for a Cavalier 5 years ago. 4 years ago was lucky enough to get
Monty our Blenheim boy from Barbara Curley at Falling Springs . After about 8 mos. we
thought Monty looked lonely and so we searched for a companion for him. Along came
Tristan our Tri boy, and the one who would be my heart and soul, from Rattlebridge.
Another few months went by and I felt that there was just too much testosterone in the
house and we needed a little lady to even things out, sooooo back to Rattlebridge and
home with Maddie. It was at this point that I joined the list so I could absorb the
technical info I would need. Monty and Tristan are couch puppies but Maddie had that
little something extra and so we ventured into the show ring. It turned out that
Maddie was not fond of being in the ring and so she is now also a couch pup and Queen
of the house.
We are going to be working this year on getting Monty and Tris into Therapy work.
Since I only work part-time for my husband this is easy for us to do.
Our Cavaliers are our children and since all the family understands that, we have
no problems in our house. The rule is "the dogs live here, you don't". So far I
haven't actually had to throw anyone out but there have been warnings.
