hello all.... I signed off this list a while ago and recently "came back", didn't take long to remind me why I signed off... VBG...
I'm rather tired of some "holier than thou" attitudes that seem to creep through quite often. 2 that spring to mind are comments such as "I wouldn't let anyone have a Cavalier who worked full time" and.... "why aren't your dogs living inside"..... well... (flame suit at the ready).... I work and my dogs do NOT live inside. When I'm home my dogs run free, enjoying a "normal" life... digging holes, wrecking the garden, generally having FUN. When I'm at work they're are in a large run which is in my garage (a 3 car garage) of which half is now their "day run" (yes.. god forbid .. its UNDER the house!!!!!). They do of course come inside but they certainly don't have "free range" - baby gates are so handy!!!! Whilst certainly not intending to "tar everyone with the same brush" I find some of these comments truely amazing coming from people who reside in a country where so many use the services of "professional handlers".... and are quite happy to ship their dogs off for months at a time to an environment that surely cannot be as good as "home life". Please forgive my ignorance and do correct me if I'm wrong but surely a "life on the road" with a circuit handler is far cry from the luxury of living at home. I have visited many "large" kennel establishments both here and in the UK and have been most impressed with the conditions and care given - of course there are some exceptions.... as there are with "house" situations... I have visited some houses that I wouldn't even kennel my dogs in!!!!! cheers David McCullough "Caribelle" [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.alphalink.com.au/~cavalier ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
