Right Myra, I could maybe let my dog go with a handler I thoroughly trusted
for a long weekend mut could never do it for months at a time. I just can't
see what kind of life that is for a dog. Before getting the dogs I have now
and got a finished miniature poodle from a breeder who wasn't going to show
her anymore. The poor thing would do nothing but run around in circles as
soon as you let her out of the crate. She had spent all her first couple
years in a crate, only be let out to be shown and was absolutely bonkers. We
had to take her back to the breeder because we just didn't know how to adjust
to her or get her to adjust to being free. She was a most beautiful little
dog and it still makes me sad.
