I have had my leather couch, chair and ottoman for at least 15 years. It has lasted through 85 pound Weimaraners, and many, many Cavaliers. There are no scratches on it at all, as it is analine dyed leather (goes all or most of the way through). Annie and her brother have done some teething on it, but if I see someone beginning to like the taste, I put tobasco sauce on it! Linda wipes it down with a damp rag, and it takes care of the footprints, bone slobber, etc. I would buy more leather in a heartbeat. Rosanne
