Okay, here's one for the group. I have a seven-month-old female who, since I got her at 14 weeks, coughs once when she drinks water. It is a hoarse cough. And it is only once each time she drinks. She does not cough while eating or doing anything else at all. Three vets have checked her heart for a murmer and hear nothing. She is normal weight for an 11 inch bitch. She never hestitates to eat everything on her plate but does not gulp her food. Actually she is the only one who takes her time eating. Our vets say she gulps water and a little water goes down the wrong way. Anyone got any ideas on what else could be the problem? Or how to solve this gulping thing? Liz Gordon Merrychase
