Hi,

I wrote that the cavs and goldens live harmoniously and they do. They love
each other and want to play together, sleep together, etc. But please use
caution not only with the cavalier puppies that can be crushed accidentally
by a bigger dog but for the adult cavalier with a rambuncious young golden.
For example, I have two adult goldens that play gently with my cav. but my 6
month old golden will yank his ears and throw himself at or onto him. So I
only keep them together for short periods of time and only when I'm watching
them. The golden pup has a fantastic temperment and would never try to hurt
the cav. but he's only being a golden pup. I know he'll calm down and
eventually becom the gentle adult golden like the rest. But for now I am
careful.
