Lucia, I would do acupuncture before I would try chiropractic techniques. I have had both my oldies done with acupuncture and they both did great with it. My Winston has a fragile back and is often in pain after several treatments he has remained pain free, as long as I am careful with him, for quite some time. There is no pain associated with it and as far as I could tell both dogs would become very relaxed during the treatment. I was very lucky and found a vet who did this and she came to the home, so there was no stress what so ever. I would be sure to find someone that will allow you to be there with your dog at all times. The procedure takes about 40 minutes.
The first time I saw it done on a friends dog, the dog could hardly move, by the time all the needles were in, the dog was asleep on the table in no pain at all. When the dog was put down on the ground he could walk a 100 times better. Good luck with your girl Cindy Roof Frisco, TX ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
