Debbie, it is no different now than before 9/11. You simply take the dog out of his Sherpa Bag, place the bag on the Xray machine, walk through with your dog and then put him back in his bag at the other end. I have noticed, however, that the agents at the ticket counter are much more "interested" in seeing the Sherpa Bag. It used to be more casual, and they never looked at it. Prices are going up again, too. I think it was American that said they had raised the charge for carry-on to $80 each way.
