Hi all, I remember that last week there was a discussion on "Greenies" treats (one fed daily to almost totally prevent dental plaque accumulation) and where to find the best price on them. After hearing how many of you have found this product to be beneficial, I did some research on my own and found that the price at Care-A-Lot for a bulk pack of 90 Greenies for 68 dollars (or 75 cents each) doesn't really net out all that well when you add in the high cost of shipping and the $2.00 surcharge that Care-A-lot charges for delivering to a residence (I suspect Care-A-Lot is running their shipping Dept. as a profit center, but this is another matter). With Care-A-Lot's hidden charges of $7 to $10 shipping (depending on your zone) and another $2 surcharge their price is actually 84 cents each. That said, I was able to find them on sale at KV Vet 1-800-423-8211 for $10.49 for a package of 14 regular size Greenies. I ordered 6 bags of these for which I will pay no additional tax or shipping fees (with KV orders ove $40 get FREE SHIPPING) which nets down to 73 cents each. I do believe I have found the best price on Greenies and wanted to share it :-)
