To those who responded privately and via list about our loss of Foxy Lady, many thanks for your kind words and support. Still brings tear to my eyes thinking about her and I find myself crying at odd moments when I forget and lose my self control. As you all know, not everyone is a dog person and has no clue about how it feels to lose one. We have learned to keep our feelings to ourselves when we are with certain friends.
She was a blessing to us and was a treasured member of our doggie family. Oddly, I have heard a dog barking in the hallway in the middle of the night just as she did when she was looking for water. It just seems so unfar to just go away for a few hours and come home and they are gone. Ah, the joys and pain of loving a Cavalier. Funny that it never stops us though from getting the next one.
