I can definitely see how each cavalier would have different talents for
agility. At our house, we throw a lot of balls to keep them in shape. Some
of them (mostly the girls, sad to say) bark a lot and get really excited,
take off running and about half way there forget what they are running for
and start sniffing the flowers or eating the grass. Some of them have never
even made it to the ball. Some of them are very keen on fetching and will
race to the ball and work hard to get it away from the others so that they
can proudly carry it back. Robbie, however, specializes in the 'shoulder
bump'. He doesn't care if he gets to the ball, but he makes it really
difficult for one of the others to get there, running along side and
deliberately bumping them off track. He did it as a pup, and he's still
doing it. He always bumps Toby and clears the way so that Nicky can fetch
the ball. Myra
