Alida, I will send my dearly, beloved departeds a message to look for Augie and add him to their list of friends to romp with. Augie, for sure, is not alone! I know for me, the thing that sustains me is knowing, real or not, that sometime we will all be reuinted. This is the thought that carries me along from day to day.
When my little poodle was lost many years ago, several years after he was gone I had a dream. " The sun was shining and I was in a big field of flowers. Way off in the distance was a little, dark speck running towards me. As this speck grew I saw that it was my dear, sweet Jolie. I started running and he jumped into my arms. The joy that I felt at this reunion could not be expressed " I woke up crying but happy because I knew that either he had just died and was letting me know he was okay or he was giving me a vision of what was to come for me when I crossed over. Either way, I knew that he was okay and for the first time in many years I felt that he did not come to any harm and that maybe someone had found him and just chose not to return him to me but gave him a good home. I searched tirelessly for a long time. I know that they are all okay on the other side just waiting. Thank you Suze for telling me that time means nothing to them. For us it can be a lifetime, for them, a heartbeat.
