You can have a dog with the correct temperament that would not be great in Agility -- perhaps good and perhaps obtaining lots of titles but it takes a special type of speed demon (good temperament or not) in order to qualify and compete at the Nationals. Most Cavaliers will do well in Agility and they should have fun doing it. Most of my dogs too are all very active, fearless and sporting but they also like to hang out on the sofa!! I have started several puppies in Agility since Jewels and whilst I am sure that they would obtain their Excellent titles and even their Masters, I am looking for that speed demon who runs for the love of Agility, not just for food, and thus far I think I may have hit on one plus I have another much younger nut case who may fit the bill!!
