>Sad Announcement:
Our last Cavalier, Ch.Park Place Fair Weather at Ambleside, known
as Spotte the Wonder Dog to her friends, died peacefully in our arms
yesterday afternoon. She was ten and had been suffering from heart failure
for about a month. Medication seemed to make her feel as good as new but
yesterday, the vet feels her enlarhged heart just ruptured and that was it.
My husband, who never had a dog that adored him the way Spotte
did, is absolutely despondent. He's walking around crying and needs another
Cavalier. The Labradors just don't do it for him.
So...he'd prefer a tricolor but blenheim will do. It has to be a
show potential bitch that I can show and breed eventually and has to be
very very pretty. It will have a loving home, sleep on the bed, be very
spoiled, etc. If there's one out there - please let me know at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] We're in Pennsylvania.
While we're on the subject, a friend of mine who is a lawyer in
Albuquerque New Mexico arranged to buy a cavalier puppy for his family
which includes two daughters 6 & 8. At the last minute, the breeder decided
a home with children wasn't suitable for her puppy and the children have
been crying ever since. If there is another breeder in the Albuquerque area
with a pet puppy available to a very nice home with two gentle little
girls, please let me know about that too.
