I have always thought that you should find the person whose dogs all looked smashing, and ask them what they feed. Did so. Said person feeds Eukanuba Lamb and Rice to all of his dogs. Rosanne changes over to that food and feeds throughout pregnancy and then to the puppies when they were ready for solid food (which I put into a blender with water and homogenize). I had three litters and 16 puppies to feed, and they were the thinnest puppies I have ever had. Mommies are all supplemented, so I don't count them. But, they didn't like Eukanuba Lamb and Rice, either the puppy or the adult. Healthy though, but I miss that puppy fat. I changed over to my old food again, and am feeding Billinghurst to my show girls. I suppose Laura is right, just put down a bunch of different kinds of great food and let them choose what they need and want. I am rambling on, so will quit!
