I could be incorrect but I believe there are only three breeders that did
not duel register.

I have to admit I am rather disappointed with the discourse on the list
lately regarding the clubs. I feel that power and personality have more to
do with the problems than any real issues. We have two fine horses (clubs)
proudly pulling the load, but hitched on different ends of the wagon.
Everytime they look around to see what the problem is, all they can see is
the backend of a horse (politely speaking) and the real issues are ignored.

But it did make me think about registrations and club acceptance.

It seems that in the very near future the restrictions on N.American dogs
into the UK will be lifted. Given the possibility that our N.Am dogs will be
allowed to compete and to be sold into the UK , will both US clubs be
recognized or will the British club only recognize the AKC dogs? I know that
the many UK imports would have no problem but what about those dogs that are
not registered with the AKC? Does the old club have an official status and
recognition with The Kennel Club?

Barbara Bond
