Susan, You're right. I had the spelling wrong.
However, the MSDS for Oxiclean say's it's Sodium Carbonate. Also say's "appropriate protective measures to prevent eye and skin irritation are recommended. They recommend goggles, rubber gloves and protective clothing. Causes: Respiratory irritation, burning in mouth, throat and stomach. The esophageal lining may be damaged due to the potential of the product to be corrosive.
