Winnie,

Firstly, the link you gave is for the laundry detergent rather than the
multi purpose stain remover. Secondly, and more importantly, it seems that
you will go to extreme measures, including taking statements COMPLETELY out
of context, to make it 'appear' that you are 'right'. Your post below would
be an example of this:

Although the MSDS you exerpted only a small portion of in order to suit your
purposes is for the laundry detergent and not the multi purpose stain
remover, here is what it ACTUALLY says:

"This product is a consumer product. To the extent the product is used in a
fashion typical to that of a consumer, protective measures, with the
exception of those indicated on the label, ar normally not necessary.

Where case conditions and or extent and durantion of exposure differ from
typical consumer use, however, appropriate protective measures to prevent
eye and prolonged skin contact (glasses goggles, rubber gloves, protective
clothing and minimize inhalation exposure (engineering controls NIOSH
approved respiratory protection are recommended)."

It is fairly obvious that the second part of the disclaimer is intended for
industrial usage of the product and does not pertain to normal consumer
usage (soaking clothing etc. in a properly diluted solution is one of the
recommended consumer uses). I think it is also fair to point out that the
second portion of the MSDS does not appear on ANY of the product usage
instructions that are enclosed in each tub of Oxiclean, nor does it appear
anywhere on the package label. I think what you have done here on the list
in trying to 'warn' people about the potential hazards of using Oxiclean is
patently clear, Winnie.

All the best,
Susan V.
