Hi Alida,

Where vitamin E is concerned, NATURAL (d-alpha tocopherol)is superior to
synthetic (no "d" before the alpha tocoherol). With most vitamins the body
can't tell the difference between natural and synthetic. Vitamin is is an
exception since there are actual chemical differences between the two forms.
If vitamin E is NATURAL, it will say so on the label. If it doesn't say
"natural" or d-alpha tocopherol, it is synthetic.

All the best,
Susan V.
