        I had to smile at this thought, as I know that those who have been kind
enough to provide us with such a lovely foundation stock must have felt
"trapped" at times. <G>
        The kindest thing that was done for me (as a Christmas present) was a
wonderful reference booklet (complete with photos) of all the related
Timsar dogs.  One can page through it easily and the old photos really
help me to see a bit of what is behind my dogs.  I imagine one could do
this on Breedmate; if you did up your own reference book and requested
photos of the dogs behind yours?
        It isn't quite the same as seeing the dogs in person, but it is a
fabulous reference.  Perhaps you could ask them to bring old photos and
scan them?
