We usually do agree about almost everything.  In this case, I am guilty of
"RN think".  The dose I use for diahhrea is one sixth of a tablet and
generally two doses spaced twelve hours apart will cure even the worst case.
  All medications have side effects, even aspirin and tylenol.  The key to
medicating is to know the correct dose and not exceed it and carefully weigh
the risk of side effects against the risk of the illness.  Myra
