Hi List:
In general, I don't believe in getting into
politics on a dog list. I will be brief and very
general on this list. I did not receive an e-mail. I
don't know what was on the e-mail. However, I do
believe that we as a free society have a right and
responsibility to defend ourselves against those who
are attempting to destroy our way of life (freedom and
liberty). History has taught us this (i.e. Neville
Chamberlain). The attack on 9/11 was just that.
Therefore, for a free society to defend itself
against evil on the march is absolutely legitimate and
necessary if we want to perserve our liberty and
freedom. That also applies to dangerous dictators who
has used chemical weapons against his own people and
will certainly use nuclear weapons, at the very least
as blackmail, if he develops them. That is all I
want to say on the topic. Perhaps it would be best to
keep this list to issues involving dogs and not get
into foreign policy. Though I think the issue
terrorism and Sadam Hussein is certanly more important
than dogs, I don't think this is the appropriate
forum to discuss those issues.
