In CT all of the Mosquito Deletos were recalled for the faulty valve and have been replaced with a new box that has a red dot on it. The boxes without the red dot, should have all gone back on the recall. The stores should be aware of the recall and not taking back any of the old ones but I have to admit that I have seen 2 boxes on the floor without the red dot.
Since we have considered this product, I have been watching and have seen several returns on the floor...boxes obviously opened and re-sealed. The shelves were re-stocked in our area in less than one month after the recall. Because we are "almost" at the end of the season, we have held off and may consider the Mosquito Magnet which a list member said was the best but it runs close to $500! We did buy new bog zappers at the beginning of the season and once again have determined that those are a total waste of money. We have not been able to use our deck all summer. This year has been the worst.
