Hello, Cindy,
        If the glucosamine/Chondroitin doesn't help, there are a number of
other very useful things that may help.  Rimidyl and adequan are both, I
think, now in use in canines.......not sure on the adequan but your vet
will know. Maybe someone else on the list knows? (I haven't had a dog
with these problems in some time). Additionally, injections of haluronic
acid (synthetic joint fluid) are extremely helpful.
