I appreciate your thanking me, but I was just forwarding a post from another list. I
live in Virginia.
Wesely Schiffman, who also offered to open her Crossbow House facilities to those
in need of a place to safeguard their animals, does live within sniffing distance of
the fires but is, apparently, safe and sound. Hopefully she and David and their dogs
will remain that way.
For those unfamiliar with the area but who have a little familiarity with driving
there, or if you want to look on a map, the fire is mainly North East of Fwy 210 and
Fwy 605 in the foothills above the 210 freeway, about 20 or so miles North East of
Downtown L.A.
Sounds terrible to me.
