Our fat little singleton puppy whom I was afraid would become a swimmer took his first
full steps today at 4 wks 4 d. He is about a week behind other puppies I have had and
still a little butter ball. But now, I can relax and just enjoy him. Our other females
are very mothering to him and lie down and let him chew their ears. Angel, his mom,
has finally let them come near him. She still tells the boys to back off though.
He's very spoiled and has quickly learned that if you start to howl someone will come
and pick you up and cuddle. He is going to be my son's dog and he has decided to name
him Burton. I think he's named after a snow board. (We are not going to let my son
name any children if they come).
He's beautiful. He has his dad's head and his mom's beautiful tri colouring.

It helped to hear everyone's experiences with singletons. I took a lot of the
suggestions to heart.
