I know this was addressed to someone else but I thought I would answer too.

Dogs are no different from people.  They do tend to grow on a *curve*.   The
big difference is slightly more variety because of multiple puppy
litters--just like people who give birth to quintuplets etc.

But as said before I do find mine grow very steadily on a curve and end up
approximately what I think they will judging by weight at 3 months of age
for girls and 3 1/2 to 3 2/3 months of age for boys and doubling it--so long
as they were normal weight at birth, never got sick, grew consistently, etc.
As soon as you get to exceptionally large or small litters, premature
puppies, sick puppies, etc. it gets a lot harder to judge final size.
