Hi Everyone: Gordon (Golden Retriever) is trying to get home from a high kill shelter near Atlanta, Georgia. Gordon is about 10 years old (or older), probably has a significant vision problem, is overweight, but spry, UTD on all vaccinations and neutered. He is a very sweet dog. I am trying to get transport for Gordon from Atlanta to me (Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc.) in West Virginia. I am very close to Virginia, so if anyone can get him that far, I'll gladly take it from there. If anyone is going to the Golden Retriever National and will be coming back through Georgia and Virginia, can Gordon hitch a ride with you? Is anyone going on a business trip, family trip, vacation? If you know anyone that is going to use this route, please ask if they will help Gordon. This poor old dog needs to get a ride north towards Virginia or West Virginia any time after the 24th of this month. If someone can do it sooner or later than that, please let me know.
