Hi,

That is excellent news. It would be nice however to make libclamav to
compile in the MSVC.

I planned to compile clamav under VC++ 2003 free command line tools but due to lack of VC++ knowledge and becouse MinGw port took me more time that I thought I abandoned it.
Good news is that currently migrate to MSVC from Mingw port is probably very easy.

Well, You could help me ;-).
I create Windows port using MinGW + MSYS.I sent patches to Tomasz Kojm.
I suppose it will be integrated into CVS sources later in

the end of

this year.

Current limitations/bugs:
Windows 95/98 SE:
- there is crash with freshclam.exe after downloading main.cvd
- clamscan cannot scan root directory (didn't see

sub-folders here) -

this is really strange

On cygwin this is related to libcurl and openssl libraries. I had to build it without-libcurl (that has libssl as a dependency) and it stopped crashing. It only crashed however on i586 machines.

I didn't use libcurl or openssl,it must be not related.
