My version of clamav-milter came from the backports to Debian Woody at
http://people.debian.org/~aurel32/backports.html. At startup, the
version number reported is:-

clamdscan / ClamAV version 0.60+BugFixesFromCVS-20030916

Probably not up to 0.60e - the define in the source says:-

#define CM_VERSION      "0.60"

Another question about clamav-milter - it was all working fine when I
started it up yesterday, but last night it hiccuped:-

Sep 26 02:14:55 castor clamav-milter[30023]: clean message from
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]
.com>
Sep 26 02:15:24 castor clamav-milter[30527]: clamfi_connect: connection
from dswu27.btconnect.com [193.113.154.28]
Sep 26 02:15:24 castor clamav-milter[30527]: hit max-children limit (2
>= 2): waiting for some to exit

By the time I looked this morning, we were at:-

Sep 26 10:08:50 castor clamav-milter[3659]: clamfi_connect: connection
from mr2.cc.ic.ac.uk [155.198.5.112]
Sep 26 10:08:50 castor clamav-milter[3659]: hit max-children limit (346
>= 2): waiting for some to exit
Sep 26 10:08:50 castor clamav-milter[3656]: hit max-children limit (346
>= 2): waiting for some to exit

Is this still a problem, or will an upgrade to 0.60e fix it as well?

Thanks,

Mike.
