I just installed fresh from the QMR install page .. Followed directions to a T, aswell having done this 100x over... And without symlinking this file it would bomb out on this testinstall script. Mind you this a simple script to make sure everything works (or to tell you that)... The entire QMR install works without running this script.. The only thing that your missing out on is the TEST Emails in your [EMAIL PROTECTED] account...

Memory is foggy at the moment but i believe there is/was a problem with the freebsd setup where there was an error when running the test script. I dont know why it happens but i dont think it actually causes any problems with the setup. It may be an actual problem with the test script on freebsd. I think putting the clamdscan -> clamscan link back in works around the problem instead of actually fixing it. Theres been a little more talk about this on the qmr mailing list but being that i dont have any freebsd servers i sort of ignored it.
