Copy the main.cvd and daily.cvd files to the document root of your web
server. At this point you should be able to download them with any
browser. If you cannot then you need to discover why.
In your *client* freshclam.conf file you need to make some changes:
Comment this out:
#DNSDatabaseInfo current.cvd.clamav.net
Change this to your webserver name:
DatabaseMirror my-apache-server.com
Comment this out
#DatabaseMirror db.us.clamav.net
It is assumed you have set the other options correctly and I'm wildly
optimistic about that.
Run freshclam on the client system and see if it has downloaded the
main.cvd and daily.cvd files. You may want to move any existing copies
to another location prior to running this test.
