Hi,
From clamdscan manual, the command that need to be used to scan a file:
    clamdscan <file>
How do I make clamdscan to use SCAN/CONTSCAN option of clamd for scanning ? Can this be controlled using clamd.conf or some option in clamdscan ? Please clarify.

It always uses CONTSCAN (or MULTISCAN if using hardware acceleration).

Hi Ian,

clamdscan man page doesn't indicate any option to specify the scan type to be used.
what clamdscan option do you use to specify CONTSCAN (or MULTISCAN) ?

Thanks,
Babu
