and before the database reload took about 50 seconds. I tried to
switch off the bytecode signatures, but that doesn't helped.

No, its not a memory issue. Its a Sun/Solaris system with 2 CPU's
and 2GB RAM and currently about 1GB free RAM.
Didn't you say it has 128MB of RAM? Or are you testing on your main box now?
